Who Do You Think You Are?
Opening Yourself Up to Your Extraordinary Potential through Buddha's Teachings on the True Nature of the Self
Who we are very much depends on who we think we are. And unfortunately all too often we identify with our negative thoughts such as anxiety, hurt, and anger and insecurity. As a result we end up perceiving ourselves in a fixed, limited way. We see ourselves as someone stuck in painful loops of behavior and thought and as someone who can’t change. In reality we are not stuck. We can change. In fact we change every day in dependence upon our thoughts – but usually without choice, which is why we experience so many problems.
Through examining Buddha's wisdom teachings on emptiness, how things exist, we learn how to harness a natural process of self-transformation to empower us in our daily life. Instead of struggling or even fighting with ourselves, we can make real, sustained, and deep changes with wisdom, and in the process, experience more profound and eventually transcendental levels of joy, fulfillment and meaning.
