Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, Ulverston, UK

Every year the New Kadampa Tradition organizes festivals on Buddhism and meditation throughout the world. These festivals bring together practitioners from far and wide to learn how to apply Buddha’s teachings (Dharma) to modern living.

Of the International Festivals, the most highly attended include the Spring and Summer festivals, held at Manjushri Centre in the Lake District of England, as well as the Fall Festival held somewhere new each year (psst, this year it's Portugal!)

On the local circuit, every spring, the World Peace Temple in Glen Spey New York hosts the US Festival, and the North East Dharma Celebration in September/October.

Kadampa Festivals

All of these Buddhist Festivals and Dharma Celebrations provide a precious opportunity to study and practice the special presentation of modern Buddhism taught by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.

The events vary in length from two days to two weeks, but whatever their duration they all offer a vacation with a difference – a chance to break free from the hectic routines of daily life and focus on the things that really matter.

You will come away not only refreshed and relaxed but also spiritually re-energized.

If you've never been before, consider joining us. We would love to see you there!
