Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, gave 84,000 teachings to help people transform their lives through contemplating and meditating on wisdom. For more than 1,000 years people have practiced these meditations in a condensed form known as "the stages of the path to enlightenment." Through gaining experience of these meditations we can make our lives happy and meaningful, find solutions to our daily problems, and ultimately attain the pure and everlasting state of enlightenment.

Know for yourself the transformative power of these profound and revolutionary meditations. Each class includes an opening meditation, a commentary to one of the meditations, and a guided meditation to deepen our understanding of the topic. While regular attendance is advised, dropping in for even a single class can be beneficial. The special sequence of 14 meditations we will explore is presented in the book "How to Understand the Mind: The Nature and Power of the Mind" by meditation master and scholar Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. 

Everyone is welcome, regardless of your level of experience with meditation or Buddhism.
